“America #37 on the Death List”

I was watching a CNN news report this morning and they reported on a news story that stated America held the 37th place on the list of Life Expectancy in the world. This means that out of ALL the countries in the entire world, america is Ranked 37 in terms of life expectancy. This translates to the ideal that some developing countries with sizes and resources that fail in comparison to the have a greater life expectancy than the so called most powerful, wealthiest, and greatest nation on the planet. The ironic part to this whole story was the regions in the U.S that high life expectancy that were lower than some countries such as Honduras, the Philippines , and some middle eastern countries. And these U.S regions included some southeastern countries where 1 in 2 people are morbidly obese. This is a direct correlation between life expectancy and obesity. It’s now more important than ever for each to take a hard look at our lifestyle, and evaluate what we really want. Do we want to live, or do we want that whole pan of peach cobbler?
