Former B.E.T Executive Paul Porter discusses detrimental effect of today’s music on youth!

I came across an interview that Former BET executive Paul Porter where he discusses today’s mainstream commercial hardcore rap music has detrimentally effected the minds & behaviors of today’s youth. During this two part interview Porter gives in depth insight from a perspective of someone who has worked on the highest level of broadcasting & seen the transition of what is perpetuated in music, movies, television, & other entertainment outlets & how they are truly influencing the minds of our youth today. Paul also discusses the HIGHLY controversial Rick Ross rape infused lyric from his feature on Rocko’s U.O.E.N.O. A FEW THINGS FROM #TRUESPEECH

Hello Everyone,

I know for the past few weeks I have not been able to post any new blog or vlog material and for that I apologize. I have however been EXTREMELY busy writing and recording an all new Joint album  with my producer @313Phresh, who is also the man behind the visual imagery of the TrueSpeech VLOG series. Writing and recording an album is a very in depth process and it requires full attention to detail in order to create the best music possible which translates to quite a few long nights and 5am-6am studio sessions. However with this album I truly feel that this is some of the most creative, original, and hard hitting music to come out of Detroit in a very long. 313 Phresh and I have truly put a lot into this project & we are hopeful that it will be well received by all who are able to hear it. “The Album with No Name EP” is the latest release from Detroit artist 313Phresh and this is definitely one of his best and most complete releases to date. This EP show’s 313 Phresh’s evolution as an artist and producer with heavy and hard hitting lyrics and song topics, along with melodious samples and 808 bass heavy lyrics. The album is riddled with songs that display the essence of pure Barz and any true hip hop or music fan can catch the rhythmic vibes and appreciate the clever wordplay.  The album features a variety of songs that will appeal to any listener and is sure to catch the ear please the senses.
